The MCS Foundation
The MCS Foundation is a UK charity that works to make renewable energy more accessible and affordable, while supporting the transition to a low-carbon future.
For this project, I created a 30-second animated video to support a campaign encouraging people to contact their MPs about moving environmental and social levies from electricity bills into general taxation. The goal was to communicate a policy-focused message in a way that felt clear, engaging and easy to understand.
To help simplify the topic, I used a range of graphic elements and visual metaphors throughout the animation. A piggy bank was used to represent potential savings on energy bills, while animated emails that appeared on the screen reinforced the campaign's call to action. These visuals helped break down the information and quickly draw attention to the most important points.
As the video needed to communicate a lot in a short space of time, I focused on creating a clean visual style with strong pacing and clear messaging. I also used an AI-generated voiceover to give the piece a professional finish and make the content more accessible to a wider audience.

“As well as covering our motion dept, In this time she also designed our new web site design – not easy to come in to a creative studio and present your work back to you. She got it exactly right and took the pressure away from us. A delight to have around.”
